Munitus FE5 (Forced Entry Resistant 5 min.)  DOOR MODEL DESIGNED FOR PREMISES AT HIGHER RISK OF BURGLARY

Munitus FE 5 door model is reinforced our door model Gerlock Classic RC3 version. The reliability of this security door model to withstand burglary attacks was tested and approved in a prestigious test laboratory Intertek in the U.S. according to Department of State (DOS) Standard SD-STD-01.01 Rev. G – level FE5.  

During that test, there is concentrated assault on the three most vulnerable locations (centre of the door, lock side and hinges side), 5 minutes for each attack, two muscular testers, use heavy-duty tools. Tests perform for both door sides, outswing and inswing opening.

Door model Munitus FE5 as all our doors are custom made can have any design and can be used for inside and outside conditions (using suitable finishing panels and electro galvanised steel ). Filled with 50 mm of rock wool, that gives excellent heat and sound insulation. Robust steel construction is available to be covered with many types of boards.

This door model can be upgraded to Bullet-Proof (Ballistic Resistant BR)

Ballistic resistance tests were performed in the US test laboratory NTS-Chesapeake according to UL752 and NIJ 0801.01 (National Institute of Justice) standards.

Together with the European EN1522/1523 standard, they are the most common standards worldwide to specify the required level of ballistic protection.

Door model Munitus FE5 FB4  tested for UL level 3 and NIJ level 3A that is equal to European EN 1522/1523 standard level FB4

Certified bullet-resistant BR4 glass according to EN 1063 standard also is available to integrate into the door.
